(Chika Chimezie)--This is cheering news for Nigerians looking for premium
events to attend, relax and spend quality time with family members and loved
ones on Saturday, October 1, Nigeria’s 56th
Independence Day.
The organisers of Bowler Hats Bash (BHB) the
high-net-worth evening of undiluted comedy, music, dance and more, have agreed
to hold this year’s show, which is the second in the series on Independence
Day, at the upscale Coliseum Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, amid glitz and
grandeur.
Painstakingly put together by leading and reliable daily

this year’s outing begins with a green and white carpet at 4.P.M.
In a statement issued today, the founder of Bowler
Hats Bash, Mr. Azuh Amatus, who is also the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of
Daylight, stated that this year’s BHB has been carefully designed and planned

“We have decided to hold the 2016 Bowler Hats Bash on
October 1, which we all know is Nigeria’s 56th
Independence Day. We are very proud and happy to add BHB to the rare list of
events already lined up for the special day.
Again, BHB has been strategically planned as one of the
major entertainment events billed to thrill and tantalise fun-loving and
fun-seeking Nigerians on October 1.
As a proud and patriotic Nigerian brand, BHB is our own
special way of celebrating Nigeria with Nigerians on her ‘birthday.’
It is definitely going to be an unforgettable evening of
explosive comedy, hot music, electrifying dance moves and much more for
upscale, urbane and upwardly mobile revelers looking for premium events to
grace on October 1.
We are ready and prepared to give Nigerians an
exhilarating and fun-filled Independence Day celebrations with Bowler Hats
Bash.”
Shedding more light on the dress code for the
spectacular soiree, Azuh, a multiple-award winning journalist, also appealed
and urged all those seeking to attend the event, to start placing orders and
buying their hats now, “because in the next couple of weeks, there surely would
be scarcity of hats in Lagos and its environs”, he added.
Azuh further disclosed that in the coming days, all the
leading entertainers billed to wow and rock guests at the high-octane
gathering, would be unveiled to the public.
“We have a loaded list of high profile performers and
entertainers. They have all promised to give Nigerians the best of Independence
Day entertainment at Bowler Hats Bash. Remember, it’s strictly a hat affair.”
We are starting the count down on September 1,” he declared.
