Nigerian Christians Suffer From Amnesia

You defended the sheer insensitivity and idiocy of people claiming that a man who survived the Chapecoense plane crash did so because he was reading a Bible.

Reasonable people saw it for what it was. Tactlessness and possible lack of good breeding.

You insisted they were glorifying God.

Now right in the house of said God, with more open Bibles than one can begin to count. More believers than on an aircraft, another tragedy.

Of course the rational query should be:

Does holding or reading a Bible only work for plane crashes and not building crashes?

You suddenly suffer from amnesia. You no longer remember how Jehovah killed one of the Beatles for disparaging Jesus, per your claim. You no longer remember how your God purportedly visits people with disasters for looking at his children cross-eyed.

You now run around doing your God's work. In your usual fashion.

Now the usual yodelers are going about with that tired "these atheists are at it again".

You are all full of your usual mischief and shit. That's all you religious nitwits are about. Lying propaganda. Filibuster and crap.

Suddenly anyone who wonders at the irony of people going to church to pray for protection against death, and then getting killed, is now an atheist.

Look we cannot run away from the truth. Prayer is at best an emotional palliative. There is no proof it does anything besides make the one who prays feel calmer, more settled from the feeling of surrender.

Do the right thing. Build with quality materials. Stop crowding spaces beyond capacity. Enough of those feet stamping and noise making in cramped buildings you call worship centres.

Your prayers cannot draw rain or reduce the heat of the sun. You are there to sooth yourselves and feel good.

Have the decency to not be a nuisance about it.

If a group of unbelievers had gathered for a lecture on Atheism and the building had collapsed on them, you know as well as the sun, moon and stars know that we would not hear the last of it. You would stake victory claims for your God from here to Jericho. You Nigerian Christians are ill-bred that way.

I have no qualms laying into y'all and reaming your silly 'churching' asses.

This is what you do with your silly broadcasts about how someone wouldn't accept Christ and died ignominiously.

You are vile sons of God that way.

What did these ones do now to die so gruesomely?

Nothing.

They did not deserve to lose their lives this way.

They did not offend any God, and any God who implies whether by written word of Scripture or by human oratory that they deserved to die for offending him should itself as a God be told where to get off.

Then again who are we fooling?

There is no God to speak.

There are reprehensible humans saying despicable things in praise to their God.

This is why you get angry when people like me and some atheists call you out.

By any name we address it, the truth remains what it is:

You created this vile, weak God who contends with newborn babies and kills them because he is peeved.

You are this God who saves one person from a plane crash because he is reading a Bible simply because you must be validated or you are dead.

Go tell the bereaved how their loved ones died because they didn't have an open Bible.

Then come back from your insanity to cry boo hoo about how "atheists are so insensitive!"

I can swear more than half of you are doing your usual bandwagon stuff as usual. You haven't seen these "atheist updates", but the spirit of "Emi na ti ri" and "I was there" will not let you desists from spreading propaganda against a beleaguered minority of persons.

Go ahead. Attack atheists. Make new bogeys. You have 2,000 years of experience behind you in constructing phantoms and then demonizing your own imaginations.

You are on solid ground. Get to it.
